OP NEBULAR - ASB and crime Sevenoaks Town Centre (Leisure centre/Environmental play park and Town car park)

Hi all,

As many of you know, an online meeting was held on Tuesday 19th May, which was well attended. This was a really positive first step in getting key stakeholders around the table to discuss the ongoing ASB and crime issues at Buckhurst Lane Town Multi-Storey Car Park, the Leisure Centre, and the Environmental Park in Sevenoaks. It provided a good opportunity to highlight the problems, share feedback and agree on a range of actions to tackle the issues in the longer term.

For those who were unable to make the meeting, I have created 28 actions following the discussion, which have already started to be progressed (please see the attached document).

I will continue to keep you updated as each action is completed. This is not a quick fix and the focus is on achieving longer term remedy, but I hope that knowing work is ongoing in the background provides some reassurance.

In terms of current updates, the operational name for this ASB work is Op Nebular. This is more relevant for police and partner agencies, but useful for residents to be aware of should it be referenced.
